BERKELEY, Calif. _ This could be the one.
The film from Japan that could bring anime into mainstream America.
It's a claim that's been made before _ and shot down.
Yet, if there's one film that could be that breakthrough it would be Hayao Miyazaki's "Spirited Away." This beautifully animated film about a young girl's journey into an exotic yet dangerous spirit world is getting an extra nudge of support from friends in high places, perhaps because it's reminiscent of some of Disney's classic films.
