Aug. 4--Wannado City, a children's theme park that lets kids role-play dozens of occupations, announced its doors will open Aug. 13.
More than a year in the making, Wannado City is a 140,000 square-foot indoor space at Sawgrass Mills mall in Sunrise where children can take on jobs such as firefighter, doctor, archeologist, actor, or airline pilot.
Designed to work from the point of view of participating "kidizens," as Wannado calls its small visitors, venues include kid-size versions of a hospital, fire and police stations, a flight training center, a ...
