Sep. 24--At America's first trade show in Cuba since that country's revolution, U.S. food companies can hand out edible samples, set up displays, bring mascots, meet Cubans and sell food.
But when they come to the Palacio de Convenciones de la Habana this week, they must leave one thing behind: politics.
"This is a commercial event," said John Kavulich, president of the U.S.-Cuba Trade and Economic Council, a private group that is one of the organizers of the U.S. Food and Agribusiness Exhibition. "It is not a political event."
