Over my shoulder goes one pair . . .
HAVING woken early, I decided to do some ironing for my daughter. In the meantime, I changed the bed and put the bed linen in the washing machine, which I then hung out to dry.
I loaded the washing machine again and continued with the ironing. Having hung out the second batch of washing, I decided to take the freshly-ironed clothes to my daughter's house a short car drive away, pausing to chat to one of her neighbours.
