Sep. 19--Doctors, dentists, nurses, philanthropists and an ambulance driver added their voices to a chorus of complaints against the potential merger of Rutgers and the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey.
Worried that the state Commission on Health Science, Education and Training will endorse a merger of the two public universities, a wide array of groups spoke out at hearings yesterday in Newark and New Brunswick.
