REDDING, Calif., Aug. 5 /PRNewswire/ -- On Wednesday, August 4, 230 hospital workers at Shasta Regional Medical Center in Redding voted to unite in SEIU 250, the health care workers union. The vote was conducted by the National Labor Relations Board. Approximately 75% of the voting workers chose to join SEIU 250. The new union members include Certified Nurse Assistants, admitting representatives, central supply technicians, engineers, phlebotomists, unit secretaries and others. The new union members have united to have a voice at work.
