TALLMADGE, Ohio _ For most of the country, Prohibition ended on Dec. 5, 1933.
But for Tallmadge, the beer drought didn't end until 11:12 a.m. Monday, when a bartender at Delanie's Neighborhood Grille poured the first glass from the tap.
The first sip came at 11:13 a.m., when Mayor Christopher Grimm sampled the new restaurant's Blue Devil Blonde House Beer _ a creation of Akron's own Blimp City microbrewery.
A minute later, two Tallmadge police officers walked into the restaurant to confront a momentarily startled crowd _ including a red-faced mayor.
