PASADENA, Calif. _ Bigwigs at the WB call it an "interesting experiment" and a "fun bit of nostalgia," but you're free to call their remake of "Family Affair" what it truly is: one more example of the creative squalor in Hollywood.
You heard right. They're doing another "Family Affair," the story about orphaned 6-year-old twins, Buffy and Jody, who go with their teen-age sister, Sissy, to live in Manhattan with their bachelor Uncle Bill and his snooty British butler, Mr. French.
Hoo boy. What would poor Mrs. Beasley think?
