Aug. 28--Twenty-five nonprofit children's agencies will send 1,511 children to see The Lion King at a Sept. 13 benefit performance presented by Dallas Summer Musicals Inc. at the Music Hall at Fair Park.
This event, chaired by Chuck Gummer, president and chief executive officer of Comerica Bank-Texas and his wife, Cindy, will allow the children to experience a live musical production for the first time.
Each orchestra seat ticket purchased for the benefit performance at the $150 to $250 level includes a free balcony seat for a child, explained Mr. Gummer.
