WIMBLEDON, England _ Tennis players who face big-serving opponents have a new weapon at their disposal, and it's not a racket.
It's a tinted, contrast-enhancing contact lens that even people with perfect sight can wear. The company that developed it, Atlanta-based Ciba Vision, claims the lens filters light to block out the background and highlights the bouncing yellow tennis ball, enabling players to follow it better.
