Their vinelike straps snake up the calf. Steep, stylish contours slenderize the foot and add a lilting arch that purrs "sexy." Posture changes. Moods shift. A twinkle is sighted in the eyes of the wearer.
All this because of a shoe. But not just any shoe. We're talking about those designed by Manolo Blahnik, 58, the European footwear guru whose name has become synonymous with (sky) high heels.
