Aug. 15--Ratchaburi Electricity Generating Holdings Plc has raised its net profit projection this year by 5.9 percent, to 3.74 billion baht, after successful negotiations with creditors to reduce loan interest payments.
Managing director Boonchoo Direksathapon said the company's interest expenses would be reduced by two billion baht during the next six years, starting this year.
The company's outstanding debt currently stands at 42.5 billion baht. Reduced interest expenses would increase the company's net profit this year by about 200 million baht.
