CHICAGO _ Jose Padilla, also known as Abdullah al Muhajir, will be held indefinitely at the Naval Consolidated Brig outside Charleston, S.C., where 260 military prisoners are serving time for crimes ranging from desertion to murder. But by no means do officials consider him an ordinary inmate.
