Aug. 6--Eight years ago, an Anderson County couple spent their hours after work for nearly two weeks with a shovel, planting 750 grape vines.
Today, the wine connoisseurs operate one of Kentucky's largest vineyards and wineries, expanding a once arduous hobby into a full-time business: Lovers Leap Vineyards & Winery.
"We're picking up a lot of steam quick. We're hoping it won't stop," said Jerry Holder, who owns the business with his wife, Ann.
