Aug. 6--Early August doesn't exactly abound with free time for those who make their living off the land.
But when it comes to the occasional wagon train, these ranchers can usually find a spare weekend to saddle up.
Members of the Cannonball Wagon Train Company, mostly from Flasher, are hosting a wagon train from 4:30 p.m. Saturday to 5 p.m. Sunday that follows the Cannonball River.
"This is kind of a spur-of-the-moment deal," said Wayne Disrud, one of the train's organizers.
