BALTIMORE _ It is this simple: When Hank Blalock hits, the Texas Rangers regularly win.
The problem: Blalock hasn't been hitting much at all lately.
Blalock went hitless again Friday in a 9-1 loss to Baltimore that extended his most recent drought to 13 at-bats without a hit. It also knocked the Rangers from first place again in the AL West. The lead changed hands for the fifth time in nine days thanks to Oakland's 11-inning win over Minnesota.
The loss was predicated by a poor start from rookie pitcher Nick Regilio, who went down in a hail of walks after only 11/3
