Jul. 13--BOISE, Idaho--With North Dakota and Minnesota's dry edible beans heading off to Cuba for the first time in 40 years, Idaho growers are left wondering what Idaho is doing to promote their beans in foreign countries.
Although Cuba may not be on top of the priority list for expansion right now, many groups have been working for quite some time to promote the Gem State's dry beans overseas and domestically.
Organizations like the National Dry Bean council, Western Bean Dealers, American Dry Bean Board, the United States Department of Agriculture and the Idaho Bean Commission have been working cooperatively and ...
