Article: Santa Fe, N.M., Task Force Moves Ahead with Civic Center Plans.

Jul. 7--The Civic Center Task Force, a 13-member community and business group charged by the city council to develop an action plan for a new civic center in downtown Santa Fe, appears to be making progress on a project that has been stalled for the last 20 years.

In late June, the group selected an architect for the civic center, Lloyd & Associates, a Santa Fe firm, in conjunction with LNM Architects, a Seattle firm. There were a total of seven entries in the competition for the contract to design the facility.
