Jun. 20--Al Gossett, president of Gossett Motors, has purchased three Memphis area properties, all with auto sales operations as tenants, for more than $12.7 million.
The seller was a trust established by Homer Skelton, also an automobile dealer. The trust was administered by First Tennessee Bank.
All three properties had been leased to United Auto Group, a publicly held, Detroit-based auto dealer headed by Roger Penske, a well known former race car driver.
Gossett bought the real estate in all three properties individually.
