Producers of a film about Rabbit Hash, the community that once elected a dog as its mayor, said the timing couldn't be better for a presidential election and its accompanying mud-slinging and negative ads.
Jude Gerard Prest, writer/producer/director of "Rabbit Hash: The Center of the Universe," said he expects to sign a distribution deal for the film next week, thanks in large part to a strong audience response at the SouthSide Film Festival June 17-20 in South Bethlehem, Pa.
The film, Prest said, has apparently found a niche as a humorous look at politics in what is expected to be an especially dirty ...
