Husky Energy said Monday that it has drilled four wells -- one producing well and three water injection wells -- as part of its White Rose project offshore Newfoundland.
Completed during the last week of July, the White Rose B 07 2 horizontal well flowed at a rate of 9,000 b/d during a test and is expected to produce between 25,000 and 35,000 b/d. In addition, the topside modules for the SeaRose Floating Production, Storage and Offloading vessel have been completed and are being installed on the ship, which is expected to set sail for White Rose field later this year.
