Jun. 7--Local satellite TV providers say the flood of disgruntled AT&T Broadband customers is helping their business.
Dan McLoughlin, owner of Digital Satellite Network, said his business has tripled in the last week as the battles with AT&T Broadband in Jacksonville escalated.
"I'm sorry, all our consultants are busy talking to unhappy cable subscribers," a friendly voice says to customers on hold at Digital Satellite Network.
Business has steadily increased for these local satellite TV companies for about six months and has recently spiked as more customers finally give up on the only local cable provider.
