I want you off my streets. You look too much like I do.
I'm addressing this to the "Fishing Hat Bandit," the guy who has set a Minnesota record for most bank robberies committed by one person before the cops end their career.
They always do, you know. That's why the Fishing Hat Bandit's "record" is only 14 (Robbery No. 14 took place Wednesday at the American Bank in my boyhood St. Paul neighborhood).
No bank robber ever comes close to Joe DiMaggio's hitting streak of 56 games. Sooner or later - usually sooner - bank robbers' luck runs out, and they go to ...
