Homebuyers eager to enjoy an urban lifestyle close to Little Italy snapped up 35 units offered at the July invitational lottery at Palermo, downtown's newest condominium community. The 230-home community at 1501 Front Street, close to the walking and bicycling paths along the waterfront, recorded 142 reservations.
With pricing starting in the low $300,000s, Palermo is attracting first-time buyers as well as those wishing to downsize to a low-maintenance home in the dynamic downtown area.
