Mindfulness-based stress reduction (MBSR) is a patient-centered treatment modality that is congruent with the core values of family systems medicine. It has numerous applications in clinical and nonclinical settings, including the education of physicians. The article by A. M. Tacon, Y. M. Caldera, and C.
