DETROIT _ It was an inopportune time for Tigers right-hander Jeff Weaver to allow his first home run.
Eric Hinske's two-run blast in the seventh inning broke a 5-5 tie, and the Toronto Blue Jays held on Sunday for a 7-6 victory.
Weaver hadn't allowed a home run in 84 innings this season, 105 2/3 dating to 2001. Red Sox right-hander Derek Lowe _ who will face the Tigers on Wednesday _ hasn't given up a homer in 78 1/3 innings, the only regular American League starter who hasn't allowed a round-tripper this year.
