CHICAGO _ As the Andersen partner who pleaded guilty to a felony charge of obstruction of justice, David B. Duncan will forever be remembered as the man who tried to stall a government probe by shredding thousands of documents relating to Enron Corp., the largest bankruptcy in U.S. history.
Duncan took center stage last week in the Andersen-Enron saga, agreeing to help the Justice Department investigate and prosecute executives from both firms who were responsible for Enron's demise.
But for all the attention he has commanded, Duncan remains a mystery to all but a select group of co-workers and friends.
