Any plans Arnie S. had to revive the Conan the Barbarian movie series pretty much end the moment The Rock first arches his eyebrow in "The Scorpion King." A toothy, likable, good humored action hero, The Rock looks the way a barbarian is supposed to look, and thanks to his athletic prowess _ he played college and pro football _ he moves the way a barbarian is supposed to move. And he makes "The Scorpion King" a perfectly watchable revival of the sword-and-sorcery genre.
