Aug. 10--FORT WAYNE, Ind. -- Fort Wayne-based Do it Best Corp. kicked off an international partnership with Habitat for Humanity on Thursday by beginning construction of a home at the corner of Warsaw Street and Dalman Avenue.
Dustin Kaehr, retail programs development coordinator for member-owned cooperative Do it Best, is supervising the project.
"We're encouraging our members to get involved through their local (Habitat) affiliates," Kaehr said, "and there's no better way to lead than by example."
Habitat for Humanity of Fort Wayne first approached Do it Best about becoming a corporate partner about two years ago, ...
