May 29--A delegation from Brazil's Manaus Free Trade Zone in Brazil's Amazon region kicks off a four-day visit to Broward County today, underscoring a move by international business north from Miami and a growing push by the tri-county area to lure more trade and investment from overseas.
On hand will be nine Manaus government and business leaders who are looking to expand U.S. sales from their bustling, manufacturing center and to set up a distribution hub for their varied export products, which include cell phones, computers and motorcycles, Broward officials said.
