May 19--WAYS OF DEALING WITH A PARTICULARLY NASTY COMPUTER WORM: W32.klez, a particularly nasty worm, continues to give computer users a rough time.
It is sneaky and powerful.
When it infects a computer, it duplicates itself and then e-mails itself to everyone in the computer user's address book.
It generates false alarms: It uses addresses in an infected computer to tell the user of that computer that an innocent person has sent an infected e-mail.
This piece of malicious code also has the power to disable antivirus programs so they won't interfere with its work.
And, for bad measure, W32.klez ...
