Aug. 11--What's taking shape in a farm field between Reynoldsburg and Pataskala has nothing to do with the old silo and grain bins nearby.
On these 400 acres in Etna Township, they've stopped growing corn and soybeans. Instead, they're making semiconductor parts, unloading clothes from halfway around the globe and creating ink that's used in ultraviolet printing.
Seven years after the site was rejected by AK Steel for a processing plant, the acreage is beginning to fulfill its promise. Newark-based Southgate Corp. bought the land in 1999 and developed Etna ...
