May 3--AstroCosmos Metallurgical is combining its Camarillo and Wooster, Ohio, operations and moving to a larger facility in Oxnard, a commercial real estate broker said Thursday.

The maker of chemical processing equipment for chemical, petrochemical and pharmaceutical markets has signed a 10-year lease valued at $3.9 million, said Mitch Conlee, a broker with DAUM Commercial Real Estate Services office in Camarillo.

Although some of its Wooster employees are expected to move to Ventura County, the company will hire a number of new workers, said Tom Ukolowicz, AstrosCosmos' vice president of sales and marketing. Job openings ...
