Hornets are new buzz ... except in Charlotte
DALLAS _ The likely regular-season champion is widely expected to perish early in the playoffs. The team everyone feared, and maybe feared most by the Least leaders, looks now as if it won't even make the playoffs.
We speak, obviously, of New Jersey and Miami in the Leastern Conference. The focus has shifted off those two teams to the Cinderellas from Detroit and the Charlotte Homeless. As ownership tries to finalize a move to New Orleans, the Hornets are suddenly challenging the Pistons for acknowledgment as the Least's new darlings.
Yet that's not all they're chasing. ...
