Apr. 22--A record number of companies relocated to Sarasota County or expanded in 2001, adding more than 470 jobs and $43 million in capital investment to the local economy, according to the Sarasota County Economic Development 2001 Annual Report.
The publication is produced by the Sarasota County Committee for Economic Development, a division of the Greater Sarasota Chamber of Commerce.
