Connecticut Business Owners Expect Economy to Pick Up by Summer.

Apr. 4--A majority of Connecticut business owners expect business to pick up during the next three months, a sign the state and national economies might be turning around even sooner than expected, according to the most recent quarterly survey by the Connecticut Business & Industry Association.
More than half of the businesses responding to CBIA's March survey said they expect their own businesses to show improvements by July. That's up from just 24 percent who predicted improvements in December's survey, and up from 23 percent a year ago, according to CBIA.
