He's not the grizzled guy - the one with the stained pants, the battered shoes and the stubbled chin off which you could grate cheese - of your imagination. In fact, as he sat in front of Barn 47 out at the State Fairgrounds on Tuesday's hazy morning with one of his horses, Tempt Fate, listening in on the conversation, George Tackley looked more or less as if he'd just come off the practice tee.
The hair was styled, the face was clean, the shorts fell just so. And the shades hung from his shirt as if placed there by Sean "P. Diddy" Combs, himself.
