Mar. 19--Allan Johnson, working at his travel agency in Akron, likens Delta taking away agents' commissions to a child suing a parent.
Delta Air Line's decision last week to cut all commissions paid to travel agents for processing airline tickets is a slap in the face, said area travel agents.
Allan Johnson of Allan Johnson Travel likened the move to a child suing a parent.
"We're the ones who put people back on planes (after Sept. 11)," Johnson said, "then they have the audacity six months later to come back and kick us." The major airlines have been cutting back on commissions paid to travel agents for the ...
