Mar. 19--DENVER -- A Colorado House committee voted 9-1 Monday night for a bill to extend the state's Hazardous Waste Incinerator Act to other processes being considered for disposing of mustard agent at Pueblo Chemical Depot.
Rep. Joyce Lawrence, co-sponsor of SB41 with Senate Majority Leader Bill Thiebaut, was pleased by the show of strong support from the Health, Environment, Welfare and Institutions Committee.
The lone committee vote against was cast by Rep. Mark Cloer, R-Colorado Springs.
