Mar. 7--EMAAR BASE SHIFTS TO DUBAI MARINA: Emaar Properties has transfered its headquarters to new offices on the site of its Dubai Marina development where the construction of three apartment towers is progressing on schedule. The cash-rich, partly Dubai Government owned company is selling these apartments on 99-year leases to buyers from anywhere, a first in the Gulf region. Emaar is also in the process of setting up its own bank, and has recruited a number of key staff in recent weeks.
