Mar. 10--The United States believes in free trade.
Russia believes in free trade. The European Union believes in free trade. Japan, Brazil, South Korea, China: They all believe in free trade.
More and more countries these days believe in free trade.
They believe in free trade in much the same way people believe in the tooth fairy. We believe, and all that, but we're not going to pull out our teeth just to reap the benefits of her existence.
Let's face it: Trade hurts. One country's export is another country's lost job.
On the whole, we all benefit from the lower prices, more efficient markets, ...
