- Almost Half of the Planned Annual Turnover Achieved
In the first six months of 2004 Beate Uhse recorded global turnover of EUR135.7 million and therefore a rise of 5.5 per cent compared with the same period in 2003. The erotica group has thus almost reached half of its planned turnover of EUR290 million for 2004. The development is also positive on the earnings side: at EUR8.6 million the pre-tax profit (EBT) is 1.3 per cent higher than the previous year and due to a better tax rating it was possible to raise the net result by almost 32 per cent compared with the 1st half of 2003.
