NEW YORK, Aug. 12 /PRNewswire/ -- It won't be the kids who will be clinging to their moms this year on the first day of school, but rather moms clinging to their kids at bus stops across the country. Contrary to what many people believe, moms are not looking forward to sending their kids back to school, according to the "Back to School" survey conducted by ClubMom(R), the free national membership organization for moms. Only 4% of moms will feel relieved when their children return to school. Moreover, 28% of moms will feel sad because their children are growing up too fast.
