WASHINGTON, Aug. 12 /PRNewswire/ -- Today the California Supreme Court ruled against San Francisco mayor Gavin Newsom and nullified the thousands of marriage licenses he handed out to same-sex couples. Family Research Council (FRC) filed an amicus brief with the California Supreme Court in this case. FRC President Tony Perkins who is currently in California, and Senior Legal Counsel Pat Trueman have released the following statements:
