French homeopathic drugs producer Boiron is planning to use its acquisition of Pierre Fabre's loss-making subsidiary Dolisos as a launch pad for expansion on the international market.
Boiron has said that, given the sympathetic view of homeopathic medicine by doctors worldwide - with 25,000 general practitioners prescribing these products in France alone - sales are set to expand, boosted by the launch of new drugs.
