Healthy houseplants create a happy home. At least, they help.
It's easy to fuss at the kids for knocking over the ficus tree while they chase each other indoors. It's hard to ignore that helpless tree sprawled out on the floor. Your nurturing instinct makes you pick it up and tuck it back into its pot of soil _ minus a few leaves and a couple broken branches.
Most plants are tough. Chances are that ficus tree will survive whatever your household slings its way.
