Mar. 4--Colorado Springs could soon become a victim of its own economic successes, just when the local economy is trying to recover.
That is the message you can glean from two studies that include Colorado Springs in comparing business operating costs with those in other cities around the nation and world. The studies were released in January by accounting giant KMPG LLP and Princeton, N.J.-based site selection consultant Boyd Co. Inc.
