ABC News White House Correspondent Ann Compton will moderate the Opening General Session at the Congressional City Conference on Sunday, March 8. Compton will combine her 17 years of covering presidents, national conventions, and campaigns with her "Outstanding Mother of 1987" award to moderate and stimulate discussion among a diverse panel of experts on the topic of |family-friendly cities and towns.'
The session, which will begin with the first public showing of the brand new PBS/Bill Moyers special, "Families First," will look at ways that families nurture children and that communities nurture families.
