Feb. 11--Jacksonville's Sea Star Line made two announcements last week relating to its service to Puerto Rico.

Sea Star said it reached an agreement with Carrier Credit Services Inc. of Fort Lauderdale to bill and collect equipment rental fees from Sea Star customers in Puerto Rico. Carrier started to invoice and collect the fees directly from customers Jan. 26, a Sea Star news release said.

Sea Star Line is one of five U.S. flag carriers serving the trade between the continental United States and Puerto Rico. With offices in Fort Lauderdale and San Juan, Puerto Rico, Carrier is staffed by transportation industry professionals ...
