Feb. 5--KIM ENG TOPS BROKERAGE TABLE: Kim Eng Securities led local brokers in January, handling transactions worth 75.2 billion baht or 14.23 percent of market turnover, the Stock Exchange of Thailand said yesterday.
Seamico Securities ranked second at 9.08 percent, followed by ABN Amro Asia Securities (8.91 percent ), KGI Securities (6.69 percent ), Capital Nomura (4.83 percent ), JP Morgan (4.78 percent ), UOB Kay Hian (4.73 percent ), Adkinson (4.65 percent ), United Securities (4.61 percent ) and National Securities (4.41 percent ).
Total market turnover in January was worth 264.48 billion baht, an increase of 48.7 percent from the previous month.
